IGNITE IMPACT
When Pat Tillman left behind his NFL contract to serve his country, he did something no one expected. When he turned down an offer to leave the military and return to the NFL after one tour overseas, he did something no one would forget. His sacrifice sparked a movement that has lasted nearly 20 years – a movement that challenges us all to become the best versions of ourselves.
Pat lit the torch and Tillman Scholars will lead us forward with it.
Tillman Scholars are military service members, veterans, and spouses who believe that their greatest years of service are not behind them, but ahead. Their character and experiences uniquely position them to be the leaders we need today and tomorrow. With your donations, the Pat Tillman Foundation can bridge the gap between their learning and their impact. Our Tillman Scholars continue to prove that no matter the challenge, they can and will face it head on and they will ignite impact. Between now and December 31st, the Pat Tillman Foundation must raise $200,000 to continue empowering Tillman Scholars.

Pat Tillman consistently proved throughout his lifetime that he could outperform anyone’s expectations for him — and he showed it when he went from being drafted 226th in 1998 to becoming the Arizona Cardinal’s starting safety. That spirit and tenacity is behind Team 226, a monthly membership program presented by DraftKings that sustains our Tillman Scholars program throughout the year and brings our most committed supporters deeper into our community.
