Today, we are proud to announce that Pat Tillman Foundation has received a grant from the Bob Woodruff Foundation (BWF) to support Tillman Scholars who are making an impact in the fields of mental health, medicine and rehabilitative care for veterans and their families.
As a key partner through the years, BWF has worked tirelessly to ensure injured veterans and their families are thriving long after they return home. Their team navigates the maze of over 46,000 nonprofit organizations to find and fund innovative programs, like the Tillman Scholars Program, in communities where veterans, their families and caregivers live and work.
Receiving a grant from BWF is a tremendous honor and testament to the dedication, focus and effectiveness of the Tillman Scholars who are writing the story of a better future for our country and communities. As a grant recipient, we are extremely proud to be a part of the Bob Woodruff Foundation grantee network, a collaboration of top-tier programs and advocates working to help service members, veterans and their families on the homefront.
