Two months before 9/11, Natalie McCabe enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, serving as a Cat Scan technologist throughout her career. In 2003, Natalie deployed in support of Operation Iraqi and Enduring Freedom which she received an expeditionary medal. She was commissioned as a non-commissioned officer while deployed. Her military experience taught her how to be a leader, disciplined and reinforced her commitment to serving others. Committed to serving others, Natalie chose to pursue a career in social work.

Additionally, her experience with neglect, trauma, and homelessness led her to social work. Natalie’s journey to obtain higher education and professional success has been both challenging and rewarding. Natalie wanted to help others navigate obstacles just as she has. Social work has offered her the opportunity and means to address life’s challenges both positively and productively. Natalie McCabe is a strong advocate of mental wellness, walking in one’s purpose, and reaching back to help others. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Social Work with a concentration in Leadership and Organization. Outside of work, Natalie volunteers and provides mentorship for young women facing adversity. Natalie McCabe is passionate about mentoring, serving others, and giving back to her community.
