Jed Hefner

Jed enlisted in the US Marine Corps Reserves in June 2001 to pay for college. Eleven days after graduating from boot camp, the 9/11 terror attacks changed the world and Jed’s mission.   

Jed served honorably for eight years, including two stateside deployments, while completing his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. 

Shortly after separating from the Marine Corps, Jed was selected as an inaugural Tillman Scholar in 2009 and sought to further his education with an MBA from the University of Arkansas. Since graduating with his MBA in 2011, Jed has worked for Accenture implementing SAP systems for the US Army and Dow Chemical.

Inspired by Pat’s Legacy of selfless service, Jed hoped to leverage his aptitude for business to bring financial literacy to families in his community. Jed serves as a Financial Peace University coordinator in both his office and church communities, using the skill set he gained as a Tillman scholar to help others eliminate debt from their lives and start taking back control over their financial lives.
