Gregory Collins

Husband, father of four children, Marine, and attorney, Greg strives to balance family, military, and education after fourteen years of service. In 2002, he left his family in Delaware at 18-years-old to attend the U.S. Naval Academy. Commissioned as a Marine Corps officer in 2006, Greg became an infantryman. He deployed as a rifle platoon commander to Fallujah, Iraq in 2007-2008 and again as a weapons company platoon commander on a Marine Expeditionary Unit to Asia in 2009.  

Using his passion and experience in the infantry, for three years Greg taught newly commissioned officers at The Basic School (TBS) in Quantico, Virginia. While instructing at TBS, Greg was accepted into the Marine Corps’ Excess Leave Program to attend law school and become a military judge advocate.  

As a law student at the University of Richmond, Greg participated in trial advocacy and student veteran organizations. Through support and empowerment from the Pat Tillman Foundation, Greg coordinated with local organizations to host the law school’s first free legal services event for local veterans.  

Upon returning to the Marine Corps as a judge advocate, Greg now uses his law school education and experience as an infantryman to serve his clients and meet the legal needs of Marines, sailors, and dependents stationed overseas.
