Amber Manke

Amber works for Optum, part of UnitedHealth Group, where she leads the Provider Development Institute, focusing on the professional development of clinician leaders.

In addition to her corporate career, Amber serves as a lieutenant colonel in the Minnesota Army National Guard as a Battalion Commander, training the next generation of second lieutenants and warrant officers. Her experience in integrating leadership development across her civilian and military careers gives her a unique edge in building high-performing teams.

Amber was named a Tillman Scholar in 2012, which supported her in earning a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She later joined PTF’s Board of Directors in 2023.
