TILLMAN SCHOLARS JOIN FORCES WITH JOURNEY HOME USA TO REHAB VETERAN’S HOME

Chicago, IL (June 20, 2017) – Tillman Scholars from the Minnesota region will partner with Journey Home USA, Got Your 6 and Macy’s to give back during a day of service on Saturday, June 24, 2017. Scholars and local volunteers will help rehab a home in North Oaks for a local Veteran and their family. For the home remodel, the volunteers will assist with deconstruction work to prepare for the rehab. The site project will take place at 5320 Hodgson Road, North Oaks, MN from 9:00am – 1:30pm local and is open for media.

The work of Pat Tillman Foundation is supported by the retailer Macy’s though its annual fundraising campaign for Got Your 6 and its non-profit veteran partners. Since 2013, Macy’s customers and associates have helped raise more than $8.3 million for Got Your 6 in support of veterans and military families across the country. From June 28 through July 4, 2017, shoppers can give $3 at the register or on macys.com and receive a savings pass to use all day, and 100% of the donations will benefit Got Your 6 and its veteran-focused nonprofit partners.
