PTF Top 10: Pat’s Run is Back in Person!

One of our top 10 moments has to be the 18th Annual Pat’s Run, presented by TEKsystems.

Pat’s Run is our marquee fundraising event, entering its 19th running in 2023. The 4.2 mile run at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, launched in 2005 to celebrate Pat’s life in the community that called him their own. Since its inception, the event has grown to nearly 30,000 and continues to be the leading event supporting our growing community of remarkable Tillman Scholars.

This year’s race felt extra special, as we returned to the streets of Tempe after two years of social distancing. And all we can say is, it’s good to be back!

With more than 25K runners joining us in Tempe and across the country, the energy on April 23 was palpable. From the minute Tempe Mayor Cory Woods gave off the starting shot as the thousands of supporters taking over the streets of campus, all the way to the last child crossing the finish line of our Pat’s Run Kid’s Race, we knew our community didn’t miss a beat.
