If you feel like the stay-at-home effects of COVID-19 has hindered your motivation to get out and move (no judgement!), the Pat Tillman Foundation has a brand new virtual event on the horizon to get you moving and support our Tillman Scholars! The Pat’s Run 42 in 40 Challenge is a fun, new activity to complete 42 miles in 40 days to support our Tillman Scholars program.
The Pat’s Run 42 in 40 Challenge is an extension of the ever-popular Pat’s Run, which began in 2004. From Oct. 3 to Veterans’ Day (Nov. 11), runners and walkers across the country will be virtually participating in the 42 for 40 Challenge,42 commemorating Pat Tillman’s number from his time at Arizona State University and 40 to acknowledge a Cardinals.his time with the Arizona Cardinals.
Registration for the run begins on September 26 on Strava where participants can log their progress throughout the 40 days. Once you have signed up to participate on Strava, head to RunSignUp to complete your registration and get the official Pat Tillman Foundation t-shirt. .
