Building trust, accountability, and transparency within our community has always been our highest priority. And now, we’re proud to share that the Pat Tillman Foundation has officially earned a Four-Star Rating from Charity Navigator—the highest rating they offer.
This rating is a signal to anyone who supports us (or is thinking about supporting us) that you can give with confidence. Charity Navigator doesn’t just look at a nonprofit’s finances, they dive deep into how organizations lead, adapt, engage with their communities, and actually deliver on their mission. They’ve rated more than 230,000 nonprofits, and this designation puts us in the top tier.
“We are delighted to provide the Pat Tillman Foundation with third-party accreditation that validates their operational excellence,” said Michael Thatcher, president and CEO of Charity Navigator. “The Four-Star Rating is the highest possible rating an organization can achieve. We are eager to see the good work that the Pat Tillman Foundation can accomplish in the years ahead.”
This recognition shows our incredible community of scholars, partners, and supporters that we are committed to driving meaningful change and making an impact.
“Our Four-Star Charity Navigator rating is further validation that our supporters can trust our commitment to good governance, but also that we’re using our donors’ gifts effectively,” said Dr. Katherine Steele, CEO of the Pat Tillman Foundation and 2014 Tillman Scholar. “We hope it will introduce our work to new supporters who can help us advance our mission to unite and empower remarkable military service members, veterans, and spouses as the next generation of public and private sector leaders.”
