Socrates Rosenfeld

MBA

Socrates was raised in Newton, MA, and earned his commission in 2004 from the United States Military Academy. While in the Army, he flew Apache Longbow helicopters, became a graduate of the US Army Ranger School, and commanded an attack helicopter company in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Upon leaving the military, Socrates studied firsthand the effects of microfinance with Grameen Bank in the Mayan Highlands of Guatemala before receiving his MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management as a Dean’s Fellow. After business school, Socrates worked at McKinsey & Company as a management consultant in Silicon Valley. Inspired by how mobile software can connect people and provide access to places previously unreachable, Socrates most recently became the co-founder & CEO of Jane Technologies, Inc. – the cannabis industry’s first online marketplace – and has dedicated himself to finding ways to make this beneficial product readily available to those who need it most.
