“With my military values and leadership, I plan to make health and fitness more accessible to a broader spectrum of society.”

As the only child of immigrant parents, Niko Sidiropoulos caught everyone off guard when he entered the Naval Academy in 1998. He did the same in 2002 when he began Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training. As a SEAL, he successfully completed five combat deployments as a member of three separate platoons in 11 years of active duty military service. Recently, he surprised everyone again by enrolling in UCLA’s Anderson School of Management. Niko desires to take the exceptional value system and leadership abilities that he gained in the military to serve society in other ways. He recently founded a Start-Up company that will make health and fitness more accessible to a broader spectrum of society. Niko continues his military service as a Lieutenant Commander in the SEAL reserves.

In the U.S. Navy, Niko successfully completed five combat deployments in 11 years of active-duty military service. Fueled by his personal passion for training and fitness, he is pursuing his MBA to grow a start-up business that improves access to health and fitness centers for more communities, while continuing his own service in the reserves.
