Michael Kothakota

Mike was born to a military family and grew up in a variety of countries. He served as an infantryman and was deployed in 2003 as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

After returning from Iraq, Mike entered the financial services field as a financial advisor in 2005, and with his wife Jessica, founded the wealth management firm WolfBridge Wealth.

As a 2013 scholar, Mike attended Northwestern University and obtained a Master’s in Predictive Analytics, and he used the knowledge gained there to help veteran small business owners optimize and grow their businesses. He continued his education in 2016, pursuing his Ph.D. in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University. He graduated in 2019 and is passionate about helping people live their values in order to be financially fulfilled. As part of his service, Mike teaches probability and statistics and research methods at New York University and Foundations of Wealth Management at Columbia University.
