John Palmer

John is currently an Investment Banking Vice President at Guggenheim Securities, where he specializes in Industrial companies. Prior to Guggenheim, he was an Associate at J.P. Morgan. His career in the Army as an Armor Officer spanned eight years, during which he completed two deployments to Afghanistan and one to Jordan. John’s commitment to service and leadership was shaped by his time at West Point and Ranger School, and further honed through his combat experiences.

He holds an undergraduate degree in American Politics from the United States Military Academy and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. As a proud Class of 2018 Tillman Scholar, John is dedicated to leveraging his military and financial expertise to make a positive impact. He is married with three children and resides in Bronxville, NY.
