“I know what it takes coming from nothing, not speaking English, and fighting to reach a goal. Perseverance is the key. You can succeed only if you don’t give up.”

Jean-Jacques is the program and project manager  overseeing hepatitis A/B/D/E and the perinatal hepatitis B program at Public Health Seattle and King County. Before managing the hepatitis B program, he was program manager supporting COVID-19 and worked closely with workplaces, communities and faith-based organizations, congregate settings, and corrections facilities. In this role, he directed and oversaw surveillance, contact tracing, outbreak investigations, responses, and prevention activities. He works closely with the Office of Equity and Community partnerships, providing education to many communities in King County.

Before joining Public Health Seattle and King County, Jean-Jacques served as program officer at PATH under the Global Health Security Agenda, supporting emergency preparedness and response in Francophone countries.
