Dennis James is a father of two fantastic twins, a devoted husband, and a proud former U.S. Army infantry officer. Dennis attended the United States Military Academy where he studied electrical engineering. After four years at West Point, he was commissioned as an infantry officer and would later join the 25th Infantry Division in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. During his active duty service, Dennis held multiple leadership positions in a variety of challenging environments culminating in his 15-month deployment to Baghdad, Iraq from 2007 to 2009.

In late 2009, he transitioned to the U.S. Army Reserves where he continued his service while exploring new career opportunities as a strategic technology and innovation consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton. In 2011, Dennis enrolled in Columbia Business School where he earned a Master’s degree in business administration (MBA). In 2013, immediately following graduation from business school, he joined Google in NYC where he has been ever since.

In his downtime, you can probably find Dennis training for (yet another) marathon, hanging out with his family, tinkering with some nerdy technology, or perfecting his mixology skills.
