David Bann

David is the Vice President of Sales and Operations at StreetShares.com, is an interactive marketplace where U.S. Military Veteran investors compete to provide shares of commercial loans to Veteran-owned small businesses. In his current role, David is responsible for sales strategy, execution, and management, where he has helped StreetShares go from zero to over $1.5 million in revenue since 2014. StreetShares has provided financing for hundreds of Veteran entrepreneurs, facilitating economic growth and job creation among the national Veteran community.  

Prior to joining StreetShares, David previously served as a policy advisor in the U.S. Senate, House of Representatives, and the Department of Defense. David began his career as a Marine Corps infantry officer, is a combat veteran, and currently serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Marine Corps Reserve. 

David received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame. He holds an MBA from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University and a MPA from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard.
