MD

“The ability to help people through medicine has driven my entire educational and professional career. As a Doctor, I will continue to serve for the sole benefit of my patients.”

Adam was raised in Northern California, spending his free time hiking, camping, and skiing in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Adam was exposed to medicine at an early age, witnessing both his mother and grandmother battle with different forms of cancer. Inspired by healthcare providers who cared for his family, Adam became an Emergency Medical Technician at 19 years old in hopes of serving others with the same compassion and empathy his mother and grandmother received. Adam went on to pursue a premedical degree at the University of Nevada, Reno in hopes of one day becoming a Physician.

Throughout Adam’s upbringing, he had felt a strong desire to serve his country, and upon graduation from college, Adam decided to enlist in the Army in hopes of becoming a Green Beret. Adam enlisted in the Army in 2011 and successfully completed the rigorous pipeline to become a Special Forces Medic. After numerous combat deployments, Adam was selected for an elite unit where he could further expand his medical acumen and responsibility. Trusted with solving our nation’s most complex problems, Adam consistently rose to the occasion.

Whether evacuating civilians during the fall of Afghanistan in 2021, treating battlefield injuries, or protecting national leaders in complicated environments, Adam proved himself time and again. After a long career in the military, Adam will continue his service as a future Physician. Adam intends to pursue primary care in rural communities where he can combine his advanced medical training with prior experiences in austere environments.
