Steve Ryan served for 20 seasons as Senior Vice President of Business Development for the Arizona Cardinals Football Club, where he oversaw the development, management and execution of corporate partnership sales & activation, as well as suites & premium hospitality sales for the NFL franchise.

During his 20-year tenure with the Cardinals, Steve’s business development efforts resulted in unprecedented revenue generation and the establishment of large-scale corporate partnerships with premier regional and national brands. He was instrumental in securing stadium naming rights deals for the Cardinals on two separate occasions, first when the venue opened in 2006 as “University of Phoenix Stadium”, and again when the venue was renamed “State Farm Stadium” in 2018. That same year, he also secured the first-ever naming rights agreement for the team’s training center in Tempe, AZ, which was branded as the “Dignity Health Arizona Cardinals Training Center”.

Prior to joining the Cardinals, Steve spent six seasons with the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles as Director of Corporate Sales securing major corporate partnership deals during the team’s 2003 transition into its new stadium, Lincoln Financial Field. Prior to joining the Eagles, Steve served for five years as the Director of Marketing & Public Relations for the PGA Champions Tour event in Philadelphia, and two years as the Coordinator for Marketing & Outreach for Special Olympics in Philadelphia.

Steve has been active in many community and charitable initiatives both past and present, including a 15-year tenure on the Board of Directors for The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix where he received the Inaugural Grant Woods “Children’s Champion” Award in 2021 for outstanding service and commitment to the Clubs. He is a member of Temple University’s Sports Administration Program’s “Gallery of Success” recognizing alumni achievement. Steve played football at Duke University where he selected to the ACC Academic Honor Roll his senior year, and he is also a member of his high school’s Athletic Hall of Fame.
 
Steve resides in Phoenix, AZ with his wife, Tracy, and their two adult children, Michael and Rebecca.
