Sofia McKentry

Sofia joined PTF in 2023 as the Associate of Programs and Leadership. In her role, Sofia drives engagement across the scholar community & developer meaningful programing for Tillman Scholars that supports their passions and further develops their leadership skills.

Sofia graduated from Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers) with a Bachelors degree in Political Science & International Studies. Sofia began her career in journalism as a radio station news reporter and later moved into hospitality.

Sofia was raised in Dallas, TX by a football loving family, so in her free time you can catch her cheering on her Tigers or rooting for the Dallas Cowboys. Now based in NYC, she loves to spend her time going to parks, reading, trying new restaurants & coffee shops, and volunteering for local youth organizations. Sofia is thrilled to be apart of the Pat Tillman Foundation.
