Honoring Veterans Today and Every Day

For more than 15 years, the Pat Tillman Foundation has united and empowered a diverse and growing community of remarkable veterans and military spouses. This Veterans Day, we salute their service and affirm our commitment in supporting them as they carry on Pat’s legacy of scholarship, service, humble leadership and impact.

Tillman Scholars served their country and our foundation supports them as they prepare for their next chapter, and beyond. While our relationship begins by helping fund their education, it doesn’t end there: we offer lifelong leadership development and—importantly—a global community to uplift, coach and mentor them as they make an impact in the United States and around the world. As the next generation of private and public sector leaders, the Tillman Scholars are tackling challenges across national security, healthcare, technology, civil rights, education and more. They believe their best years of service to our country are still ahead of them, and they are committed to strengthening communities at home and around the world.

Our program provides:

• Scholarships: Annual funding for academic expenses, including tuition, books and living expenses
• Global community: Access to a broad and diverse network of high-performing peers and mentors across multiple industries across the world
• Lifelong leadership development:Opportunities to advance knowledge, skills and experience through events, like the Pat Tillman Leadership Summit, partnerships with the Aspen Ideas Festival and SxSW, professional development mini grants, and more

And our scholars are doing amazing things:

• Aiding in the fight against COVID, like Melissa McCullough, Jackie Munn and Phil Caruso, among many others
• Supporting racial justice efforts, like Keidrick Roy, Nate Jester and Jonathan Yellowhair
• Fighting for the vulnerable, like Kristi Pelzel and Jennifer Esparza
• Advocating for better technology to save lives, like Andrew Fisher or Zeeshan Parvez
